Amir Hameed - Medium Pace Bowler
Right arm Medium fast bowler Aamer Hameed was born on October 18, 1954 at Lahore. He didn’t play Test cricket for Pakistan. Aamer Hameed participated in two ODI’s 1977-78. Though he could not have chance to bat, but manage to get one wicket at an average of 38.00. His best bowling was 1 for 32 against England at Sahiwal in 1977-78. He also held one catch and won the selection to England tour in 1978. However, he did not play any Test match in that tour, but only appearance was against Blue for Oxford University.
Aamer Hameed didn’t have any other memories despite of two ODI appearances. His First class career was span from 1972 till 1979. He played 54 first class matches scoring 923 runs with the best of 103 at an average of 14.42 with the help of 2 hundreds and 2 fifties. As a medium pacer he has taken 115 wickets with the best bowling of 7 for 36 at 38.69, with five wickets an inning 5 times and one time 10 wickets in a match.
